“addressing The Issues”
Bridging the Political Gap with Common Sense
Politics has divided us long enough. It is time to bring common sense back to the conversation.
Delaware families do not wake up every morning worried about political parties. They are worried about paying their electric bills, finding an affordable home, keeping their neighborhoods safe, giving their children a quality education, and making sure good-paying jobs remain within reach.
Those challenges demand real answers, not political rhetoric, partisan gridlock, or policies designed simply to generate headlines.
Chris Muntz believes the best ideas are not Republican ideas or Democratic ideas. They are Delaware ideas. As State Representative, he will work with anyone willing to put people before politics and focus on practical policies that strengthen District 27.
That means supporting responsible economic growth that creates family-sustaining jobs, generates new revenue, strengthens our tax base, and reduces the pressure placed on homeowners and working families. It means confronting rising energy costs with practical, long-term solutions. It means planning for growth before it overwhelms our roads, schools, utilities, emergency services, and neighborhoods.
Chris’s approach is simple:
“Listen before leading. Build consensus before conflict. Deliver results before rhetoric.”
Safety Is the Foundation of Every Strong Community
Families deserve to feel safe in their homes, schools, businesses, and public spaces.
Chris supports providing law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and emergency dispatchers with the staffing, training, equipment, and resources they need. Public safety policy should focus on accountability, prevention, community trust, and effective enforcement.
Supporting first responders also means investing in mental health resources, recruitment, retention, and modern emergency infrastructure.
"Public safety begins long before the sirens sound, by investing in the people who stand ready to answer the call."
Responsible Growth and Revenue Generation
Delaware cannot tax its way to prosperity, and homeowners cannot continue carrying more of the financial burden.
Chris supports responsible growth that attracts quality employers, creates high-paying jobs, generates sustainable revenue, and expands Delaware’s tax base. Development should benefit the residents who already live here, not just the companies building here.
Growth must be planned carefully and paired with the roads, schools, utilities, public safety resources, and infrastructure our communities need. Saying no to every opportunity is not a plan. Neither is approving development without preparing for its impact.
Chris will support projects that provide real economic value, protect taxpayers, create career opportunities, and improve the long-term strength of District 27.
“Delaware’s future depends on growth that pays its own way, creates opportunity, and puts the people of District 27 first.”
Quality Schools and Career Opportunities
Every student should graduate prepared for college, a skilled career, military service, or another meaningful path forward.
Chris supports strong public schools, safe learning environments, vocational and technical education, and better connections between classrooms and real career opportunities. Delaware must invest in teachers and support staff while also holding the education system accountable for student outcomes.
College should remain an available path, but it should not be treated as the only path. Skilled trades, apprenticeships, certifications, and technical careers can provide young Delawareans with tremendous opportunities without overwhelming student debt.
“Strong, family sustaining careers mean strong homes, thriving communities, and a Bright Future for Delaware!”
Lowering Energy Costs for all delawareans
Rising energy costs are putting real pressure on families, seniors, and small businesses. Delawareans deserve answers without rhetoric and solutions that extend beyond campaign speeches and political headlines.
Chris supports a balanced energy strategy focused on affordability, reliability, infrastructure, and long-term stability. Delaware must encourage investment in energy generation and transmission, improve the reliability of the power grid, and evaluate policies based on their actual effect on monthly utility bills.
Energy policy should protect the environment while also recognizing that families need dependable and affordable power. Chris will support practical solutions that lower costs, strengthen reliability, and prepare Delaware for future demand.
"Delaware doesn't need leaders who choose between economic growth and environmental stewardship. We need leaders with the courage to achieve both."
